The ARAM ring means THE SUN in the language of the natives and is part of the Macuxi collection.<\/p>\n

The Macuxi collection consists of geometric shapes reminiscent of arrows and indigenous Tacapi combined with stones that recall the intense colours used in their accessories.<\/p>\n

The inspiration comes from the variety of colours and shapes of the instruments of the native Brazilian population, in this case, the Macuxi Indians.<\/p>\n

The Macuxi, are people who live in a land called Raposa Serra do Sol, in northern Brazil, on the border with Venezuela and Guyana.<\/p>\n

It is a region of spectacular beauty of mountains, rainforests, savannahs, rivers and waterfalls.<\/p>\n

Despite having contact with the outside world for more than two centuries, the Indians retained their languages and customs.<\/p>\n

Since 2009, the Supreme Court has recognised Raposa Serra do Sol indigenous territory as independent.<\/p>\n

Today, the indigenous peoples of Raposa Serra do Sol live in peace on their own land and are developing their own projects in education and health.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
