How to measure a ring

The fit of rings varies from one model to another. Much like what happens with clothing and footwear.

Fit refers to the adaptability and adherence of the ring to the finger, and can be defined, for a given size:

  • Standard: It's a close fit to the actual finger size. The measurement corresponds to what was taken.
  • Poor: It's a snug fit, making the ring less comfortable.
It may be advisable to choose a size larger than the one measured.
  • Abundant: It's a fit that leaves space between the finger and the ring, the shape is almost too comfortable.
A smaller measurement than was detected might be sufficient.

How to choose the correct size

1. Measure a ring you already own

Take a ring (preferably a wedding band or a band ring) of the desired size. With a ruler, measure the Inner diameter with the greatest possible precision.

  • Example: If the diameter is 16.56 mm, the corresponding measure is the 52.
  • Recommendation: If you find yourself between two sizes, always opt for the larger one for optimal comfort.

2. Check the printable guide

For complete safety, use our measuring sheets:

  • Check the scale Once the sheet is printed, check that the reference 20 mm in the bottom right corner to be exact. If the measurement differs (e.g. you read 19 mm), adjust the printer settings to “Real Dimensions” (100%) And try again.
  • Try on the ring: Place the ring over the printed circles. The correct measurement is when the circle on the paper perfectly matches the Inner diameter of the ring.
A touch of style If you wish to wear multiple rings on the same finger, we recommend choosing a size slightly larger to ensure freedom of movement.
